Supporting Members
CDSP Supporting Memberships are designed to enable member companies to interact with faculty and students without a committment to a research collaboration. The emphasis is on communication between the CDSP and industry, both in terms of the results of CDSP research activities and also in terms of potential employment opportunities for CDSP students.
CDSP Supporters benefit from:
Access to, and interaction with, CDSP graduate students and alumni.
We are developing a formal structure to increase interaction between affiliate members and CDSP students, and to facilitate communication concerning temporary and permanent employment opportunities. This structure includes:
- electronic posting to CDSP students and alumni of job openings through CDSP email and Web facilities
- active circulation to affiliate companies of information about students nearing graduation
- active participation in the CDSP workshop, and waiver of workshop fees for member employees
- site visits by members to CDSP, or by a group of CDSP faculty and students to members
- invitation to the CDSP annual workshop and all CDSP seminars and special events
- facilitation of summer internships and other temporary employment
- other forums as seems appropriate
Increased visibility through CDSP affiliation.
Affiliate members are entitled to:
- having a stand for recruitment of CDSP students at the annual CDSP workshop
- acknowledgment of the company's support of the CDSP Center on our web page and on appropriate CDSP publications
Direct access to the Center's research results.
Affiliate members receive copies of the CDSP Newsletter, and upon request, expedited access to CDSP technical reports.
